Jean-Claude Auclin

Cellist

  • For my home-studio and for all my recordings, I use the range of Prodipe mics which I find extraordinary.

I know the skills of sound engineer of Ludovic Lanen and I am not surprised that his collaboration with Prodipe is also effective! Then, for me, Prodipe represents a new major brand.

I use the STC-3D MK2 and the A1 Duo, as well as the RSL. For my studio monitors, I opted for the Pro 8 which are a real success.

  • The most important thing is the sound of my cello. With the CL21,

    - As far as the capsule is concerned, I get the authenticity of the sound and timbre and the harmonic warmth I’m looking for in my recordings.
    - Clamps-wise, the rubber part is easy to fasten and the mic adapts ideally to the cello.

I’m committed to Prodipe and really happy to participate in this quest to offer all cellists an exceptional mic for the true sound of their instrument.
