    Rock band

La Souris déglinguée (LSD) is an alternative French rock band. They first appeared in 1976, a street band from the Paris suburbs, led by their singer, Tai-Luc, and they're still going strong. With a repertoire which embraces musical and cultural eclecticism, they have gone from punk to 60s rock, and from la Oi! to dub via rap and rock'n'roll, covering all manner of topics such as Vietnam and the former communist outskirts of Paris.

La Souris Déglinguée (LSD) have forged their reputation on stage, but they've also been a favourite of the critics, like Laurent Chalumeau, from the magazine, Rock&Folk1, who has supported the group since the beginning of the 1980s, and Philippe Manœuvre2.

LSD's first 'official' concert was in Sarcelles in 1979, and their first single was funded by friends.

Since 1983, the group have constantly innovated, showing no hesitation in blending other musical styles, for example, they incorporated brass, accordion and female vocals on the album Aujourd'hui et Demain. Reputed for having one of the strongest and most vigorous fan bases in France, the International Raya Fan Club (I.R.F.C.), LSD write songs filled with poetry and melodies that reflect their fans' experience of being on the periphery and Tai-Luc's quasi-obsession with all things Vietnamese and Asian.

In December 2005, they released Mekong, their 15th album, and in 2006, the album/DVD Live au Glaz'art.

In 2009, the album, As-tu déjà oublié ?, mixed by Rémi Berger, was released by Clandestines3 (Rémi Berger has been mixing LSD's recordings since 1980).

On Saturday 23rd January 2010, the group celebrated their 30 years together in the boulevard Voltaire at Bataclan, Paris.

In 2012, LSD played at the Midi festival in Shanghai and Beijing under the name of fengkuangzhishufaguoyuedui (疯狂之鼠法国乐队).

In 2014, their psycho jazz could be heard at New Morning, in the chapel at Fresnes Prison, and during the French/British streetpunk festival at Boqueho. In the final months of 2015, their concerts in Toulouse, Perpignan and at Chez Paulette in Toul, have been setting the scene for Musicorama Lysergique at the Olympia in Paris on Saturday 9th May.

  • Laurent Hilairet

    Musician - Composer

Passionate about composition and improvisation, Laurent Hilairet is a musician-teacher, multi-instrumentalist and group coach.

Passionate about composition and improvisation, Laurent Hilairet is a musician-teacher, multi-instrumentalist and group coach.

After having followed a standard musical course up to the Nantes Conservatory in jazz piano,
Laurent Hilairet opened his musical practice to new instruments (Chapman stick, Hand pan and percussion) as well as to various musical styles. He has participated in Western Trio and Western of the Nantes collective 1name4acrew, as well as in the group 1band4acrew. These projects have allowed him to play and record with Eric Truffaz and Fédérico Pélégrini from the French Cowboys, among others.

At the same time, he played Warr Guitar in the group MoTa, which led him to meet Bijan Chémirani (zarb and oriental percussions). Human and musical encounter which really put him in contact with the richness of world music.

He has been a musician-teacher for several years in various structures as a multi-instrumentalist, group coaching and improvisation / composition. Among other things, he uses digital technologies as an educational medium and makes learners aware of the basics of recording and the world of the studio.

He started working with Mandalia musique to set up Hand Pan workshops on Clisson in 2018. The recording and distribution of an album around this instrument via this label structure is under study.

Artistically, he is currently focusing on his electronic music project WILD and releasing an album entitled L'Aube during the fall of 2017. He trained in studio recording for the occasion, and therefore partly used material from Prodipe (headphones, microphones, monitoring speakers ...). This return to analog synths is in a way a return to his roots, because it is these sounds that made him want to make music when he was younger.

WILD is currently finding its echo through two other projects: Bokk ”, which is a mixture of electronic music, with Matéo Guyon on vibraphone and percussions, as well as Fabrice L'Houtellier on drums; as well as Drift, which is a meeting between WILD, Tom Leclerc on machines and Pauline Villain on vocals.

He also plays in J-L Ouvrard's Blue Dream project (guitar) and plays the piano alongside Olivier Chabasse (double bass) and Matéo Guyon (percussion) in Tree Home, a mixture of jazz and world music.

His passion for composition and improvisation has now become the common thread of his artistic approach.

  • Les Rapetous

    Guitar - Keyboard - Drums - Vocals

Designation of origin of four pistoleros, pillars of the French guitar gratin uniting to form a group of "weights".

Designation of origin of four pistoleros, pillars of the French guitar gratin uniting to form a group of "weights". In a rock spirit allied to a solid sense of quirky humor Basile Leroux, Manu Galvin, Serge Malik and Laurent Cokelaere, "strong" of 420 kilos on the scale and an adapted CV, combine their massive talent as bandits of the pick to evoke or escape their past… Heavy!

Where it gets interesting is that they are together for fun, far from the ambition of the stars they rub shoulders with on a daily basis. These dangerous sharp criminals want to share a festive moment with the public, without wanting to prove anything else.

The RAPETOUS are everywhere they want: clubs, first parties of great artists, festivals, pizza trucks and… good restaurants! Because it should be noted that their contract includes a detailed menu, the cooking of meats and selected wines (humor!).

    The press describes Les RAPETOUS:

"A fat sound ... bison rhythms ... a generous, succulent, earthy spirit but without excess of seriousness ... their Telecasters sound like fighter planes!"

The RAPETOUS not only invite themselves to lunch, they also invite prestigious artists on stage: Larry Carlton, Nicoletta, Yarol, Didier Lockwood, Paul Personn, Axel Bauer, Sylvain Luc, Klaus Blasquiz, Nono, Frankie Jordan… Each stage performance offers its share of surprises!

Lionel Suarez is a French accordionist, born January 15, 1977 in Rodez, Aveyron. Coming from a family of musicians, he was naturally initiated into music and rhythms by his grandfather, drummer and accordionist, and his accordionist father.

    Lionel Suarez is an accordionist
who likes to thwart omens. He knows all the spells of virtuosity and flair, he wraps up the waltz and languishes melancholies with a science that we thought had been lost since the death of the old shamans of the musette. But he also knows how to invent mid-season skies, tropical swells and northern tundras.

Free musician, prodigal, traveler, he sometimes poses the accordion and goes on to the bandoneon, the piano, the bass, the percussions. He composes, he brings together, he assembles shows which are at the same time or successively music, theater, audacity, vertigo.

Few instrumentalists have as much respect for words as he does, few musicians have such a passion for speech, few artists have such a respect for silence, withdrawal, restraint - with so many notes, phrases, galloping. in his accordion.

Should we be surprised at the length of his CV? We saw him in a show for two with André Minvielle, in companionship with Richard Bona, Sylvain Luc, Didier Lockwood, Bumcello, ONJ, Laurent Cugny or Sixun, behind the songs of Claude Nougaro, Zebda, Bernard Lavilliers, Harry Connick Junior, Roberto Alagna, Charles Aznavour, Georges Moustaki, Sanseverino, Olivia Ruiz, Allain Leprest, Yael Naim, or Véronique Sanson, behind the words of Jean Rochefort or Jean-Pierre Coffe ...

And should we be surprised that he is leading so many adventures simultaneously? He presents Leprest - an unknown pacifist - with the singer Jehan, creates the show Piaf the intimate being with Clotilde Courau, the Gardel quarteto in the company of the trumpeter Airelle Besson, the cellist Vincent Segal and the percussionist Minino Garay. And he also performs solo or in duet with Pierre-François Dufour or Airelle Besson ...
