Nikola Vardis

Guitarist

  • In December 2011, I came to Paris to record my new album with my sound engineer Georgios Sotiropoulos, and we were amazed to discover the new Prodipe brand.

We also noticed that these products were in the biggest French studios. When comparing these speakers and mics to big, prestigious brands, we found that their quality was the same. This therefore aroused our curiosity and we were able to obtain many answers to our questions

This brand was created by bringing together the know-how of French engineers and musicians to a talented manufacturer.

The price / quality ratio is extraordinary and we ourselves have adopted Prodipe.

    Bravo Prodipe !

Biography

Composer and bassist, he performs on the major Greek and international stages.

Born in Greece in the 1950s, Nikola Vardis began his musical journey during his adolescence. He was introduced to music on the guitar, but soon turned to bass and played classics by Led Zeppelin and Jimmy Hendrix in local bands.

It was at the age of 20 that he came to Paris to take harmony and modern jazz lessons with Jeff Gilson. There he met many musicians with whom he shared common influences, joined many orchestras (Robert Lefont), jazz clubs and worked with Peyrac.

It was at this time that he met Claude Salmieri, then drummer for France Gall and Michel Berger. Having become friends, they collaborate on the production of Claude's album "Pierrot Lunaire".

Returning to Greece for personal reasons, he performed sessions for local artists and composers like Anna Vissi, Haris Alexiou, George Theofanous, Antonis Vardis and Sakés Rouvas.

He holds the record in Greece for the only bassist who has participated in so many recordings.

Composing his own music, he also performs with Greece's most renowned musicians such as Lakis Zois, George Trantalidis, Marcos Alexiou, Alex Foster, Chris Stasinopoulos, Savas Christodouloy, David Lynch and Tony Lakatos.

He is currently devoting himself to the creation and recording of his next album, and is preparing a method of learning the bass.
