Biography

Guitar teacher and professional musician, he also offers the discovery of instruments such as the dobro, the lapsteel, the mandolin, the dulcimer, the bouzouki, the ukulele, the banjo or the theremin.

Born in Saint-Brieuc on August 15, 1976. Bathed in music from an early age, he was quickly introduced to classical piano by his mother, herself a teacher. It was at 16 that he discovered a passion for the guitar through the repertoire of the Beatles, Paul Mc Cartney and Queen, then Joe Satriani, Steve Vai, Steve Morse, Blue Saraceno, Michel Petrucciani ... lessons, listening, concerts, and many readings, he progresses rapidly in technique and harmony, which allows him to quickly go on stage, and give his first lessons. He then continued internships and masterclasses such as the "Cannes Passion Musique" Festival alongside Uzeb, Biréli Lagrène, Dennis Chambers, Stuart Hamm, Rudy Roberts, Pat O May, Jonathan Mover, Mickael Jones, Jean Michel Jarre, Michel Cusson, Yannick Robert, Jean Claude Rapin, and multiplies the meetings as at the music fairs in Paris with Nono (Trust), Patrick Rondat, Andy Timmons, Jean Michel Kajdan, or during private sessions like with Steve Lukather and the group Toto.

During his first year of law school and for lack of possible outlets in this field at the time, he decided to devote himself to music, and to pass his entrance examination to AIMRA in Lyon, he will work with the luthier Yves Argant for demonstrations of his Stallion guitars with interchangeable necks, and will record his first discs with variety formations. After his jazz / classical training with teachers such as Pierrejean Gaucher, Jean Paul Hervé, Jacques Helmus, Claude Tezza, he completed his training with Clavichords, Music Academy International (CMCN), Guitar Ar Men with New York guitarist Ron " Bumblefoot "Thal (Guns N 'Roses), and Henri Le Diset with whom he will explore the concepts of harmony of the Berklee Music Academy, and present his first EP of instrumental music. With his first experience in a home studio, he will offer internships and long training approved uniformation, for the learning of the M.A.O at the National Academy of Musical Teaching of Brest, and becomes coordinator of the CEMA in Saint Pol de Léon.

From September 2000 to June 2017, he officiates at the municipal music school of Saint-Renan as director, teaches the guitar, directs the town orchestra, but also offers the discovery of instruments such as the dobro, the lapsteel, mandolin, dulcimer, bouzouki, ukulele, banjo or even theremin. He in turn organizes masterclasses and meetings with artists such as Sanseverino, Soig Sibiril, Inophis, Fred Chapelier, Pat O May, ... Trained by Eric Druez (Terre des Arts), he participates with several specialized establishments, in place of specific courses in musical and cultural expression for people with disabilities (Maison des 3 Lacs in Saint Renan, Papillons Blancs in Milizac, Don Bosco Kervallon in Brest).

Since September 2018 he has been working within the music school of Iroise (Community of municipalities of the country of Iroise), as responsible for the center site, activities, and the establishment of cultural networks in the municipalities of the territory while retaining his teaching activities within this structure, the direction of the orchestra of the city of Saint Renan, and joined Saint Renan Animation with in charge in other, the music fair, the Renanaise Musicale of which it has been at the initiative since 2014 with around 2,500 visitors.

He participates in many groups such as Terre Adélie, Elle et les autres, Passeport, Appalaches, Vertigo, ... Collaborates with artists such as Jean Luc Roudaut (Caradec), Brigitte Uguen, Philippe Maillet, Nadine Ravalard, Laurie Guillou, Pierrick Lagarrigue , ..., and currently plays in the group Resonance.

Member of SACEM, and of Fablab Iroise, has been managing the recording studio "La chocolat3" since 2015 (Jean Luc Roudaut, Laurie Guillou, René S Baron, Yvon Jambou, telephone messages for the municipalities of Saint Renan, Milzac-Guipronvel, Fondimare ...).
