  • Ron Moor

    Singer - Guitarist

Guitarist and singer, Ron Moor grows in the west of France, but his mind is far away.

Guitarist and singer, Ron Moor grows in the west of France, but his mind is far away.

Brought up to the riffs of Garbage, Silverchair and other Anglo/American/Australian groups of the 90s, Ron Moor created his own musical world at a very early age, a world dominated by English lyrics and saturated guitar tracks.

Science trained, he embraced the production side of music, which gave him the opportunity to work on multiple projects in Copenhagen and Los Angeles.

Ron Moor's music oscillates between mind-blowing synth-pop and indisputably minimalist rock. He happily merges powerful guitar with strong electronic groove. Although the production is first-rate, the force behind Ron Moor's music is its sense of authenticity and spontaneity.

After the single, We Are The Broken, was released in 2012, his first album, Starshine, came out in November 2013. Self-produced in Los Angeles and La Roche-sur-Yon (France), and mixed by Luc Tellier (Simple Plan, Marie-Mai) in Montreal, and by Damien Bolo (C2C), Starshine has been favorably received by both the public and the media.

Accompanied by three musicians (guitar-keyboards, bass guitar-keyboards, drums), his live shows are all about power, light and emotion. Using the very latest equipment (sound and light), every show is a unique experience. So don't hesitate to find out for yourself, either live or recorded, whether Ron Moor really measures up to his billing as a rock revelation in 2014.
