Michel Deshays multiplies his talents: guitarist, author, composer, director and performer.
Michel Deshays multiplies his talents: guitarist, author, composer, director and performer.
Appearing in September 1959 in the sardine capital of Safi in Morocco and raised in that of Terre-Neuvas in Fécamp, Michel Deshays was not born under the sign of fish... and swims very badly.
It was in the early 70s that he got his first guitar by discovering Woodie Guthrie, Bob Dylan, Simon and Garfunkel, America (which he would later play the first part), Crosby, Stills Nash - Young, Eagles and the Beatles.
This will be followed by bands and musical adventures (2 victories at the mythical Drouot Golf Springboard) linked to adolescence where encounters are knotted around words and vinyl exchanges.
In 1982 he released his first single 45T entitled Gauguin/Hot Chocolate. In 35 years there will be many meetings and collaborations.
Three 45t and 7 albums including a live in 2003, many singles, songs for and with others, known or less known, whatever, whether they are called Michael Jones, Beverly Jo Scott, David Koven, Pierre Vassiliu or Eva Marchal, Michel Deshays likes to multiply artistic experiences as long as they are emotional.
A song for ELA, a children's tale, a film-musical comedy, songwriting workshops, the creation of the Caravan of Tolerance, a little tour to the pub, a choir to direct, studio sessions, the creation of children's books around the character Arthus, in short, everything that enriches his universe and arouses the meeting of the satisfied.
By turns author, composer, director, artistic director, producer, creator of a Springboard, discoverer of talents, Michel releases his album No. 5 "The effect my wrinkles" prepared quietly over a period of 12 months for 12 titles while continuing his work as a lyricist and songwriter.
In 2019, two albums will be released: "Vintage 6.0" as a return to the roots of his inspiration.
And "My words make you man" for the youngest audience, but not only.
A job that is educational and fun.
Workshops are planned in schools in France around this album.
